The Omron expansion unit with up to four embedded analog inputs and four outputs achieves a high resolution of 12,000. A wide variety of temperature sensor units are available including: multi-input (thermocouple and analog inputs), platinum resistance thermometer input, and thermocouple input models. Units with up to 12 embedded thermocouple inputs can be used for multiple temperature input applications, e.g. molding machines.
