品牌介绍

The company was founded in 1947 by Wilhelm Kordt as a factory producing gauges and measuring tools. He had gained his experience in thread gauging with Bauer & Schaurte, a screw manufacturer. As their Technical Director, he built up a factory for the production of thread gauges. The manufacture of the revolutionary thread roll snap gauge of the make "AGGRA" counts among his successes.

KORDT today has a large internationally known programme of gauges, measuring equipment and semi or fully automatic checking fixtures. They also design and manufacture multi-gauging fixtures, and finally KORDT offers a programme of standard elements that helps customers who make their own measuring fixtures.

The early years

Kordt LogosIn the early years, KORDT was known for the manufacture of thread and length gauges, but Wilhelm Kordt recognised early the economic importance of the correct measuring technique for the monitoring and checking of the production process.

Amongst the first KORDT developments were an optical profile and surface measuring instrument, the adjustable thread gauge CORDAMOV and the snap gauge CORDOPRES. In 1966, the first fully automatic thread checking machine was introduced for applications in calibration centres and transfer lines.

Alongside this, they developed, in collaboration with AEG, the first electronic length measuring instrument ELTAS. It can be seen even today in the "Deutsches Museum" in Munich. In the 1950ies a optical surface measuring instrument with the name Visoport was introduced.

Recognized measuring equipment

Measuring instruments have become indispensable in the modern economic production environment. They guarantee the optimal setting of the production machine, ensuring the constant monitoring of the process, and allow the statistical analysis and documentation.

KORDT equipment makes its own contribution to this. For example, CORDATEST and CORDITEST are recognised measuring tools for external and internal threads, using the differential measuring technique. This makes it possible to find out the most important geometrical parameters of the thread with only two measurements (see also the leaflet "Differential Measuring Technique, Quality and Economy in the Production of Threads").
